Father's Day
We celebrated Father's Day yesterday since we will be out of town next week. We did an ice cream tasting contest. I tricked them on Brown Sugar, Cranberry/Blueberry Sorbet, and Phish Food. This may be the beginning of a great tradition:)
Happy Father's Day to the best dad/husband! We love you Kevin! Thanks for always keeping us smiling and laughing!!!

Bryson and Baseball
Bryson is playing junior ball this summer. It is quite the event here. For opening cermonies, they had a helicopter land on the baseball field and deliver the ball for the first pitch.
They get to rotate positions each game. Here he is at 3rd base.
The first time he had to wear all the catcher gear he didn't enjoy it but once he got used to it, he did a great job and even learned how to crouch low.
His strongest point is hitting. It is pitching machine and he gets good solid hits.
Washing the table
I came upon these pictures back from March and I had to post them. Bryson had woken up and gotten ready for school before I had gotten up. The night before had been a busy night and the dinner dishes had been left on the table. When I came down to ge breakfast ready Bryson had cleared the table and then had gotten a napkin and gone into the bathroom to get it wet and was wiping off the table. This wasn't his daily job or anything, he just thought of it all on his own. What a great kid!!!

Space
My sister Kariana finished painting Bryson's room. This was all his idea of wanting the planets. Bryson has read quite a few books on the solar system and knows that Pluto is not a planet but still really wanted it on his wall so Kariana said she would do it too. We are excited to get to now decorate the rest of this room to match his awesome wall.
Kariana you are the best!!!
Summer
I love summer days! Today we slept in and had a lazy morning. Then Kevin called and wanted to meet for lunch and then go out for ice cream. When we got home I put Alyssa down for a nap and then heard Bryson and Kaitlyn giggling outside! Summer is so much easier when they are getting along. Unfortunetly it isn't always this way but when it is I take lots of photos so I can remember the good summer days.

Kaitlyn Tee Ball
Kaitlyn started tee ball this week. She has it Monday-Friday from 9-10:15am. They practice several of the mornings and then have about 2 games a week during that time. Today was her second game. She isn't always eager to go to tee ball in the morning but once she is there she has a great time. She does well at batting.
My favorite was watching her play first base today. Bryson and I were laughing quite hard and enjoyed watching her more than she probably even enjoyed it. She didn't care what was going on and had everyone smiling because most the hits were little hits to the pitcher who would then pass it to Kaitlyn who had no clue. Her coaches are high school kids who are great. One of her coaches stood next to her to help "encourage" her. Kaitlyn figured out the routine of running to first when the ball was hit but other than getting on first base, she was thinking of other things...

Great Sites
We went to the Indy Motor Speedway museum. The museum is right in the center of the speedway. We took a bus tour right on the track. We are looking forward to the Indy 500 next year now that we understand all of it better.
However, the kids favorite part were the ducks in the fountain.
We also went to the Louisville Slugger. We all loved it but it was funnest to watch Bryson, who had a game that same night and was excited to have a day of baseball.
Bryson did better than Kevin and I in the batting cages.
All car trips are best with Kariana:) She is so much fun and also takes care of the kids too!!!
