The happiest times in our lives do not come from personal possessions and wealth rather they come from our relationships with our family and friends.

Icy Wonderland
When the weather said ICE, it wasn't kidding. This is how it looked all weekend and in fact still looks. The temp was about 30 and raining. It would then make icicles or coat everything. We were fascinated with the grass and the individual frozen blades.
BRRRR! Reminds me of Memphis! We didn't have much snow, but several days of freezing rain & my mailbox looked just like this! Have I told you how much I LOVE California???? ;)
Wow, that's pretty cool looking. Not that I'm jealous or anything... cause I'm not. You enjoy your freezing temperatures, and we'll enjoy our almost-freezing temperatures. ;-)
This is Amy, a high school friend of Kevin's. I just got your Christmas card with this address on it. It's been fun to look at your blog. Your family is darling. Congrats to Kevin on his graduation and teaching position!! He always said he wanted to be a "professional student" and this is a great way to do it :) Your house is beautiful. We are in CA (LA area) and we do LOVE the weather and everything else, but the housing prices are tough to deal with. You win some, you lose some. Anyway, it was fun to catch up on an old friend! Good luck this winter!
Hey! Thanks for your comment on my blog! We did get dumped on! We've gotten dumped on every weekend since December started! We've had a record snowfall so far for December. This winter has been much better for me than last winter!

Yup, don't miss NY so much when I see your pics! They are great shots of the ice though - Sean will be excited to see them.
That is seriously cool - individual blades of ice frozen.
